Note4
A trip planner you tell in one sentence. It ranks where to stay by the total cost of getting there, then plans the route and the day. I designed and built all of it.

Why
The problem
Who it is for, and why
Booking sites rank stays by nightly rate. For a trip with a fixed purpose (a conference, a wedding, a meeting), the cheap room an hour away often costs more once the transport and the time are counted.
Note4 ranks by total cost (rate, plus transport, plus time), then builds a dated plan. It starts with towns the big sites barely list, where the problem is sharpest.

The same depth as on Work, opened up.
Interface
Results as a comparison
Stays appear in the conversation as cards, and every option after the first says how it compares: more or less money, closer or farther. Thin inventory, no results, errors and the booking handoff each get a designed screen.
Why · The states most products skip are the ones people meet
Planner
Ask only what is missing
The first version asked fixed questions in order. I replaced it with a conversation that keeps every fact the moment it is said and never asks for it twice, and lists its assumptions on the plan instead of inventing them.
Why · The fixed flow invented dates and could not take an answer it did not ask for
Engine
Total cost, explained
Ranking is a pure function. Rate, transport and time become one cost through named, visible weights, with no trained model. A verified listing beats an unverified one at equal cost, and when little is found it says so.
Why · A ranking you can explain is one you can tune and trust
Data
Honest prices, private trips
A searched price is kept only if the search opened the page it cites, and a missing price is shown as an estimate, never as fact. Someone else’s trip returns the same not-found as one that does not exist.
Why · No unsourced price, and no hint that another trip exists
